Canon 55-250mm lens, would this be acceptable for wedding photography?

I am looking on the cheaper side, and know almost nothing about f stops and what not. So for a cheaper lens, would everything else be acceptable for wedding photography, or should I be looking for something else? As long as you also have the 18-55 mm lens … they would be a great combination
